Technology has indeed brought us so many things that could make our lives a lot easier and safer. While there are also downsides to technology and its products, its proper use will definitely yield more positive outcomes than negative. In the end, it is still up to the person how to use technology or a gadget produced through technology. A GPS tracker for instance is a very useful product of technology that is widely used today. It is mainly used to track a person or a property through the application of Global Positioning System (GPS).

How does a GPS tracker work?
For a GPS tracker to work, its receiver must be locked with at least 3 satellites to determine the subject’s latitude and longitude location. With more than 3 satellites locking on a signal, the subject’s latitude and longitude location will be determined as well as its altitude. Changes in the subject’s location (if the subject is moving) can also be tracked and recorded from a database that controls the receiver’s signal.
